Step 1: Traveling to the Washington Metropolitan Area
If you plan to fly to the conference, use either Dulles or Reagan National
airports. Another possibility is to take Amtrak to Union Station.
Step 2: Traveling to the Hotel/Conference
- From Dulles Airport, It will be easiest to take a taxi to the Hilton Arlington. You can also take a taxi to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station and from there take the Orange line toward New Carrollton four stops to the Ballston-MU metro station. The hotel/conference location is adjacent to the Metro Station.
- From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, either take a taxi or take the Metro Blue line toward Largo Town Center. At Rosslyn, transfer to the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax and take it four stops to the Ballston-MU metro station. The hotel/conference location is adjacent to the Metro Station.
- From Union Station, either take a taxi or take the Metro Red line toward Shady Grove. At Metro Center, transfer to the Orange Line toward Vienna/Fairfax and take it eight stops to the Ballston-MU metro station. The hotel/conference location is adjacent to the Metro Station.
